I think unless you do hard core trails with hard core mods, both 4wd systems will work well for you on the trail. The easiest way to tell is written in the previous post, you'll have to look at the transfer case shifter. I have the Command-Trac and it works great.

has anyone removed fender flares. They look like they are held on by plastice christmas tree style clips at the bottom but I want to know if they are easily damaged when pryed off. my tires barely rub on trails and the inner edge of teh fender is ripping apart the outer tread of the tire.
