I had my wife stand on the rock rails and bounce the Jeep up and down to recreate the annoying squeaking that i have been trying to track down for a year. Used to just occur when wheeling, now its happening with the least bit of body roll on pavement. All the shiny new parts and $ spent on it and it sounds like a (very loud) squeaky bed! Love my rig but this has been driving me crazy since my JBA lift was installed last June.

On a positive note - I installed my new Skid Row front skid. Much more heavy-duty than the stock one for sure!

So did you track down the noise?

I've got a squeak that has to be in the sway bar/body mount bushings. There's nothing left from the OME lift and the same squeak was there with that lift. I'm curious to learn what you find :waytogo:

Spent yet another day trying to find the culprit of the battery drain, also took the time to clean up my audio wiring while I was at it. I believe I fixed the drain issue, hopefully it's a thing of the past.

Here's a video playing 27hz(very low). I'm only running 300w, but the box is a double folded horn and is extremely efficient.

Added toy - Can-am Outlander MAX

After having the trailer hitch recall installed last year and adding trailer wiring harness this summer I added a trailer and a Can-am Outlander MAX in preparation for deer camp this year

Bought mine from a local dealer. If there's a problem it goes back to them.

What store did you buy it from? Did you talk to them?
Sounds like the car sat for extended periods of time.
Any drain down, will cause issues, and always best to remove a terminal then.
AGM's like any batteries, need to be trickled charged occasionally, with appropriate AGM charger, they like that!

Drove mine over to the lake shore to watch the northern end of the storm Tom described. I was listening to the OSU game on the radio and the weather was bad enough in Columbus that halftime was extended to about ninety minutes.

what did you use?
wipe new?
sprayed some clear coat?

I tired wipe new. didn't last long.
Polishing compound and a drill with a foam attachment. I wet sanded them 2 years ago so they were still smooth. I waxed them after done. Should hold up another year or more.

Meguire's plastic X works for me, although mine have never clouded up. I hit them with that once a year or every other year and it keeps them new looking.

I'd just get new housings..
$60 for both and you won't have to worry about it again
Also, get some Wipe New for that plastic and it'll make it look brand new :waytogo:
