Go to the Jeep website and in the "for owners" section at the top right, punch in the last 8 digits of your VIN number. This will bring up any outstanding recalls that need to be done to your jeep.

go to Jeep.com and run the last 8 digits of your VIN there under the recall section, and that'll tell you if it's been done or not.

Finally had the ball joints replaced!!!

The liberty seems easier to handle after the recall. It used to swing a little while making turns. I feel great. :-({|=

sounds like it may have been an issue, glad you got it taken care of before they failed.
