What did you do to your jeep today?

Found these guys at the JY and snatched up a set of four for $5. Fit way better than the generic ones from VatoZone. And they have a nifty little grill and Jeep logo.

    LineX-ing Flares and lower KJ

Not that it matters, but Monstaliner was though up on, prototyped on, and tested on JeepForum... They even have their own smiley GIF on there...

    LineX-ing Flares and lower KJ

Do you guys like Monstaliner? It's extremely popular on most of the forums I frequent, but I'm still the new kid on the block here, so... It's DIY, guaranteed not to chip or fade, and cheap. I know a couple people that have done their whole Jeep, inside and out, for right around $200. It has a...

Project: Cinnamon, the Wife's 2002 KJ

Thanks, Dave. Thanks. The ZJs will always be near and dear to my heart. All of these pictures were taken on hills. I measured HTF this morning parked on the most flat spot I could find: 19 1/4" FR 19 1/2" FL 19 3/4" RR 19 3/4" RL I took a quick glance under neath, but haven't had time to...

    Ebay Crossbar thoughts?

I got a Thule system (cross bars, bike racks, and locks) used for $60. I've been using it every summer for four years now. It may be Chinese made, but it's definitely good quality stuff. They might go on the KJ this afternoon. If they do, I'll take some pictures. They're beefy enough to hold my...

Because rust is cool! What's the stock HTF measurement? 17.5" up front and 18.5" rear?

Project: Cinnamon, the Wife's 2002 KJ

Warshed it. She was pretty clean from the dealership, but now she's clean for real and ready to go get dirty. My philosophy on washing Jeeps is like washing clothes... It's awesome if you want to get them absolutely filthy; I do it all the time. But if you (censored) your pants, you're not going...

Finally brought it home once and for all! The KJ is ours now (well, the wife's, but I get to play with it some, too).

Project: Cinnamon, the Wife's 2002 KJ

Finally took delivery this afternoon! Between our work schedules and the dealership being busy, it took a little while longer before we could go finish all the paper work. It's totally legal now--she's home and she's ours. I'm a build thread *****. Expect lot's of pictures, lot's of posts...

How do you start your Jeep?

I do this. I wait and listen for the fuel pump to kick on before I crank it all the way. It's a habit I picked up after owning a Lexus that fried fuel pump control modules just about every other week.

545RFE Reflash or a JY TCM & Torque Management Delete

It's covered pretty exhaustively in WJ forums. I was going to run it to a switch when I first found out about it, but then I sold that Jeep and haven't had a chance to try it since. Sent from my iPhone 6

545RFE Reflash or a JY TCM & Torque Management Delete

These are JTEC/DCX controlled, so there is aftermarket support via SCT/PRP, but it's $$$$ compared to tuning literally every other manufacturer. I'm getting into this on my ZJ, but I'm not sure the KJ is worth fooling with.
