Finally brought it home once and for all! The KJ is ours now (well, the wife's, but I get to play with it some, too).

Finally took delivery this afternoon! Between our work schedules and the dealership being busy, it took a little while longer before we could go finish all the paper work. It's totally legal now--she's home and she's ours. I'm a build thread *****. Expect lot's of pictures, lot's of posts...

I do this. I wait and listen for the fuel pump to kick on before I crank it all the way. It's a habit I picked up after owning a Lexus that fried fuel pump control modules just about every other week.

It's covered pretty exhaustively in WJ forums. I was going to run it to a switch when I first found out about it, but then I sold that Jeep and haven't had a chance to try it since. Sent from my iPhone 6

These are JTEC/DCX controlled, so there is aftermarket support via SCT/PRP, but it's $$$$ compared to tuning literally every other manufacturer. I'm getting into this on my ZJ, but I'm not sure the KJ is worth fooling with.
