I just replaced my drivers side cv axle thinking it would fix my noise but no such luck. It needed to be replaced anyways cause both boots were bad so what the heck. Still chasing this noise though. I'm getting a clicking snapping noise and some rough binding from what sounds like the drivers...
I'm going to purchase a set of cooper discoverer at3 tires but undecided on size. Thought maybe since I'm not doing a mud terrain tire I might go up to 265/70/16 or should I go with a 245/75/16? Also my original plan was cragar soft 8's but am now looking to purchase d windows instead. What do...
Could someone tell me if this would be a good upgrade for me. I have a 3 inch lift and soon in need of a new rear upper control arm and after seeing this thought I may add one at the same time. I won't gain any height with this extension correct it just relieves stress from the control arm and...
So the jeep had been sitting for a couple of days and temps have been in the teens and getting some loud noise from the power steering. Really loud at idle and when turning but goes away after warms up after 5 or so minutes. Is my pump on its way out? Never had any trouble over the warm months...
So my speedometer stopped working on my way to work this morning.
Stopped working completely and sits at zero with no movement or bouncing of needle. I have no codes for speed sensor.
Could it be a bad stepper motor in gauge cluster? Any ideas?

Stupid question, but what are conduit nuts used for when lifting and where are they installed to gain more height? I read posts about using them just not much detail. Thanks.
I know I want the Cragar soft 8's in a 15 inch wheel I figured that much out myself. I want to go 15x8 inch wide with 4" backspace for the wider stance. I know most go with 7" wide with 4" backspace but I do actually want my wheels to stick out some. My question is will they rub bad even after...
Do I go 2.5" or 4" rear Blisteins from JBA when going for my goal of 3" lift? I'm thinking 2.5" might not be enough and 4" will give me some room to work with in the future. Am I correct?
Just replaced the original rack on my 04 GMC envoy due to leaks. All was fine with the original as far as steering effort, but the replacement rack steers hard. So I replaced the new one with another thinking it was a bad rack and this one is the same and steers hard as well. Hard to imagine...
I am getting a sloshing sound behind dash when taking off and accelerating. I have tried bleeding and burping but still seem to have air in system. Has anyone experienced this and have any advice?
I'm looking at a front driveshaft and rear hatch glass with shocks from a Liberty near by that is being parted... :icon_frown: What is the most would pay for these parts as he asked me to make an offer with what I thought was a fair price. I can grab a rear glass offline for around $150-$200 and...
How much height is gained in rear with each extra set of isolators? Also, what is the max height that can be achieved with stock uca's comfortably before rubbing springs? Thanks
My '02 currently sits at 20 inches in the front and 19.75" in the rear stock with crappy shocks and struts. In my case where my '02 has the taller springs, I just can't justify spending the money on OME or Ironman to gain an inch or two of lift where the guys with the lower sprigs are obviously...
Was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the pilot bearing/insert in the end of crankshaft because my torque converter won't fit. Thinking to just go in and cut it out, but any tricks would be helpful.
edit: The pilot bearing i'm referring to is actually the insert used to down size the bore...
Do the plated links need to be lined up on the secondary timing chains with dots as long as V6 on cams are at 12 o'clock and everything below is lined up properly per FSM with #1 at TDC? Thanks in advance.
