I wouldn't stick an M/T on a Liberty either.

It would be way too loud. I've driven Wranglers with huge baja tires on it and I swear I was only in it for 5 minutes and it drove me insane.

Muds on a KJ would do the same. Not to the extent of a Wrangler, but close.

Muds on a WK however... with all this dang soundproofing, and quietness.... it just MIGHT be bearable. Still not doing it though. For a Jeep that spends 99% of its life on the road, compromises have to be made, I completely understand that.

YES it is a Jeep, and IMO it deserves to at least LOOK aggressive and a nice All-Terrain does a great job with that part.

It's really not that bad driving a KJ with Man Tires on it.

ThunderbirdJunkie has been doing it exclusively for over 90,000 miles now!

Next time we see each other you will have to ride in El KJ

No, but it's OK. My next steps are to lower it 4", throw on as much chrome as I can, and put on some dubs. Anyone need a front axle? I'll yank that sonofagun out too. Hell, maybe I'll just rip the drivetrain out and convert it to FWD.

I mean, if I am not going to go M/T, why own anything that sits more than 2" off the pavement? Anything else is a total waste of a vehicle.

AND nobody even mentioned tires in the last 5 entries.

I'm good for the Duratracs. Looks like my 401k is rebounding. It's time to toss a few $s into the economy.
