I know in Florida you get a free windshield replacement with a cracked or broken windshield, even if you have the lowest of the low insurance.

On my Durango I had to pay...oh well. I prefer not to get insurance involved if possible.

Guess you are lucky, how about driving home from the body shop and then get a mother of a rock hit the hood and then the left front door window sill...so I went from 'brand shiny new' to 'scraped and dented' in what....20 minutes?

How about (on the Durango) it's a few months old (Dec. of 05) and the garage door closes on the tail gate??? So you get it fixed, and then next week, what do ya know, IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!!

It's not a CRACK that will spread, it's a chip... There are no spider cracks coming out of it. I had these all over my Avenger windshield, none spread, and there is more body flex in that than this jeep. Well, not when I was done with it, with front and rear frame ties, and a strut tower brace.

I did not pass the motorcycle course, and don't have a Class M on my License either.

My Avenger hood had rock dings and pits ALL OVER it... I had to add the wind deflector to that, but it isn't big (high) enough, so everything they hit the window instead... Catch 22 with the Avenger, you either take the hits on the hood, or window. I'd rather the hood, easier to replace or repair...
