Ok. So I'm in need of some new tires and when I get some I plan on getting Firestone Destination ATs 235/70/16. They have raised why letters on them. should I have them turned inward so I dont see the the letters? If there are any pics of both the raised white and turned in that would help a lot thanks.

Just to throw in another question while I'm here...I'm gonna get some soft 8s sometime in the next couple months as well. what size would they be? I believe it is 16x7 with the 4.5 bolt pattern. Also Cragar has like six different "series" of the soft 8s that are the right size (I think), which "series" do I get and is there a difference? While I'm on this topic too how much backspacing should I have on them? could i also get some pics of nthe soft 8s without the chrome cup in the middle preferably on a black kj.

ok thanks. hopefully thats it.

Wow, my silent armors didn't come with white lettering on either side.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
I like whites out myself which is good because I had no choice on my MT/Rs:

I have never liked RWL on tires.
We didn't have a choice either!
But it has grown on me and now I think it looks alright.
When we go up to 265's or 285's I don't really care one way or another!

Time to setup,no white letters for 35" MT/R's:rockit:

I've always been a fan of rwl's on anything but trail rigs.

It's is somewhat of a "status/check out what I roll" type of statement when it comes to a road ready vehicle.
Now when it comes to an off-road type of rig, you're not going to get any trail respect for sporting rwl, for the simple fact that any true off-roader would know what tire you're rolling immediately after glancing at them.

couldnt disagree more. It's just the white letters contrasting. It's not like I would expect anyone to actually read the whole thing around the tire. The actual model isn't in white usually anyway. It is purely for looks, not advertising.
