hey guy's haven't been around for quite some time, I see a ton of new faces around here, anyways I retired the KJ from wheelin seeins it is a Daily driver too & bought a 97 TJ last FEB 14th I have put a TON of $$ into it to get it running & driving up to par,still got some work to do though...

I was under the impression also that you had to remove the tow hooks so where abouts does it mount next to the tow hooks ???

part # is 17004 ( as stated above) & with that lift you'll be fine those particular shocks part # actualy are for a dodge durango from what I've read & will work with a lift or stock very popular shock

Fouros that thing is awesome,I especialy like the ideas of built in recovery points & spot for lights hopefuly it'll be out soon ???? might just buy one unless I like the bumper better,they will be made for the 04 correct ?? or just 05-06,I have the same body style KJ as you & that thing is perfect

I run my 245/70/16 BFG AT's at 40 psi & they seem to be wearing alright I've put just about 9,000 on them gas mileage is a little better also

I use Simple Green works awesome,I don't cover anything up,just make sure the engine is completly cold best time to do it is first thing in the morning after it sits all night & don't use jet stream on the hose nozzle ( full bore) about half trigger should be fine make sure you don't get any...

by running higher octane you could experiance some pinging which is not good I believe you could burn up the valves,& these engines are run & designed at the factory on 87 octane I have heard of guy's running a cleaner additive in thier fuel but I haven't tried it personaly there is some stuff...

I would get some measurements for ya but it's pouring outside,I do know mid 2002 KJ's they did lower them for safety reasons I have an 04 with stock suspention & full skids & when wheelin there is quite a bit of banging,but with a lift there should be none or just a little depending on terrain
