This is the What did you to your Jeep today? Thread.

Most people put a teaser post here and full info in their threads...it's been fine for years. Why is it a problem now?

Sprayed the pollen off of it. Been sitting a few days since I usually take the motorcycle in warm weather.

I guess you didn't notice that his post in this thread was nearly identical to his post in his own thread. It wasn't a teaser. I don't have a problem with teasers. Why is my trying to help JeepKJ.com a problem?

Don't bust my balls. What did I do to my Jeep today? I embraced my ownership of it to help support my favorite automotive forum by sharing what I have some expertise in. I volunteered the information. Please take it for what it's worth. Leave the rest.

Wish I could get 30mpg even trying would be nice lol. Over the last week I drove to Virginia Beach where we are staying for the week for vacation. Was happy my Jeep made it without issue although I only averaged about 21mpg, granted it is pretty hilly all the way here. Maybe I need to look into replacing parts that effect my mileage after I return home.

21 is pretty good! I think I got 24 once, but it might have been a fluke. Right now I get 17-18...

And I enjoyed my newly replaced calipers after the rear one froze a while ago. Just gotta check those banjo bolts again to ensure they're not leaking. I never know how hard to crank down on those things...

I think 21 is pretty good, too.

When I bought the Libby I told my wife - and therefore told myself - that we now owned a truck and to expect it to run, consume and drive like a truck. It may not have a pickup bed on it but it essentially functions like a truck.

That mindset keeps me from responding lustfully when my wife tells me she got 34mpg's on her last tank of gas in her Fusion - I just remind her that the Jeep can pull the boat, extract small trees and shrubs from our landscaping by using its winch, drive an offroad trail that would make a Hummer owner soil his pants, and take her out to dinner at a nice place in smooth comfort.

To my knowledge there ain't no car out there capable of doing that.

I'll take my 20 miles to the gallon :waytogo:

I used mine as a truck too. Once hauled 1300# of cement in the hatch to the dump. Was not the smartest move but the dump is only around 5kms away. When I was leaving the dump the girl asked me "Where did your trailer go?" She thought I was kidding when I told her I hauled it in the hatch of the Jeep.

Left rear caliper on the 07 is sticking.
Just under 2 yrs on this Napa reman.
Only got 1 1/2 yrs out the left rear napa reman on the 06 also.
Life time warranty though, other wise I'd be switching brands.

Washed it and conditioned all the vinyl. Protects from UV's and keeps it from fading. Yesterday I sanded, and repainted the stock rock rails. Looking forward to replacing those soon. But until then... they are looking pretty ok.

Pounded down my pinch welds and some other prep work. Hoping to install my lift next weekend when I have more time.

Changed the oil today. It was overdue. My 50+ mile round trip commute really makes those oil changes come quickly. My '08 is now at 95,971!! Looks like I'll hit 100k this year 8-/
