I remember 84 hour workweeks and the magnetic bed. I also remember 20 mile bicycle commutes in DC heat. Must have been crazy; Now I feel lazy.

hit the trail for 6 hours...waiting on pictures / videos from other peoples phone...
truck was awesome, climbed some awesome ledges, went through some nasty holes....
only problem was a bolt on strut town apparently came loose...

Picked up my stepdaughter early from work 'cause she was sick. My very smart boss told me to take one of the little trash cans with liners...good thing 'cause she puked in the thing.

Saved the Liberty because I'd have to burn it after that :doublepuke:

Replace the ball joint of UCA

A few months ago i wanted to replace the ball joint of UCA.

Needed to replace as soon as possible. I felt very uncomfortable driving every time passed through a hole in the road and the imperfections. The front suspension did not feel smooth.

Finally this past weekend I had the opportunity to focus on this task which was pending.

This ball joint I have it a year ago. I order from JBA’s just for this particular reason to replace like now.

It is or is not normal that the ball joint is bent as I show in this picture?
The ball joint being bent is because it needs more grease?

Also replace the bump stop that I had ordered a few months ago.

I use the shovel method that read on a thread here before to install the bump stop.
With a little dishwashing liquid for me it became easier and be able to get the bump stop in the groove.

Using the shovel that method really works.

Coming home from my night job and saw 3 02-04 Renegades Bob !
IMAGINE 3 of them all with the stock Renegade Tupperware still on them

:happy175::happy175:

I HAVE ALSO figured out
I'm too old though to work 12-13 hour night shift even if it is just watching monitors and still do 8 hours during the day
Daily its do I sleep or do I eat something
I mostly sleep since I'm fat and can live off of stored up blubber :emotions34::Insane::happy175::help:

Sleep - it's overrated!!! :happy175::happy175:

So just about the time you're thinking the Tupperware is hard to find three people tease you with it - Ha!

Let me know when you're ready to take delivery ;)

Except for the last picture none of the rest of your pictures show up in your post. So whatever you did for the last picture do for the rest of them - that way we'll be able to see the bent ball joint.

I've never seen a bent ball joint before - not to say it can't happen but I've just never seen one. I can see why you were afraid to drive your KJ - I would be too :Insane:

Well done on the bump stop installation! :waytogo:

I ended up getting new tires put on today. Went with Toyo Open Country AT2's, they were priced right, the salesman was a big fan of them and they're (supposedly) made in the US.
Anyway they look much much better than the worn out all seasons that were on there.

Hi krisP

I just replaced with the same P235/65R17 size, nothing too exciting but they look much better....less "mall rated" and more "trail rated" :)

Sorry because the pictures were not shown. Replace the ball joint UCA.

The boot of the ball joint is bent compressed as show in the picture
I wonder that's normal?
How much grease is recommended to fill the ball joint?
Should I need to fill it up with more grease the boot of the ball joint?

If you're uploading to the site, you can only upload one picture per post.

Best way is to host the photos someplace like photobucket or flickr and link them here.
