According to google maps i can get there in 36 hours which means I could probably do it in 30. 4075km(2500 miles) Haha sadly I dont think ill be able to make it out for this one, although I wish I could even just to help.

Ive got a stack of new parts building up myself and another rainy weekend here on the west coast.

good luck to everyone with the builds! if i was in the 8 hour range i would be there lol. cant wait to see the pictures!

Made it home!

I need to hop in the shower as I am filthy after all the hard work Tom and Bob and Mac did today. Details later when I can do the story justice, but this lift stuff just might catch on. :winner_third_h4h:

Glad you made it back - based on the time stamp on your post the alignment went fine and the trip home was uneventful.

Great to have everyone here today - and seeing Ted walking up the driveway was an unexpected and welcome surprise. Everything went smoothly except for that little issue on the rear diff - there are ways around that though ;) And thankfully 400 pounds of human hanging on the rear of your KJ made sure we could get your much taller KJ out of my garage :happy175:

I have some pics loaded in Photobucket - let me know if you want me to post them ;)

P.S. Jim McClain, we sang happy birthday to you. Didjya hear it...?

Thanks Tom for posting the first look at Prof's great lifted Jeep!
Like father like son, I am so proud that your son is also so capable!
Bob, you are awesome for allowing the installation to take place at your amazing residence!
This is so fantastic! You all gave a serious helping hand for Steve's lift!
Awesome effort, we need more folks like you on this planet! :waytogo::waytogo:

Yea, you should've come down. We could've gotten two of you lifted!

Some more pics...

Right front ready for the OME spring, Bilstein shock and JBA A-arms. Notice the new NAPA brakes Prof put on recently?

The left rear with OME 948 spring and two upper isolators. The brake line extension will be replaced. I didn't have any decent steel strap in the garage so we made do. Prof will replace it with the right material:

A happy Prof in his newly-lifted KJ heading out to get an alignment!

Having a lift party is the way to go. More hands makes light work - happy trail rides, Prof! :waytogo:

Yeah, I don't even have my parts yet. Still finalizing my decisions on what to order. Still would have been good to be there and meet you guys and at least see it done. Looks great, tho! Maybe when I get my stuff you can have me over to do mine at your garage
