2 extra upper iso's in the rear

Did you happened to get some measurements on the ironman lift?????
Thanks

If the shocks are not long enough with a lift, the shock will be overextended and it will be ruined. That is why the longer shocks for the rear are recommended so they are not broken on your first off-road trail.

Yes, those tires will fit with an OME kit. Will be even better if you add a 1/4" top plate to the front shocks/coils and add a rear upper isolator above the rear spring. Those will give you an extra 1/2" of lift in the front and back.

Hope this helps, Ahmed!

Of course :Big Laugh::Big Laugh::Big Laugh::Big Laugh:
I measure every KJ I ever see
The maroon one after we installed the Ironman is at 22.75 in the front and staying right there
It was a little lower when I had it on mine due to the ARB etc

Hello guys,

So i got the OME 927 +NS131 front and 948 +N132 rear installed,

it give around 2 inch of lift ,i feel it rides better than stock and i like the new height

just one thing there some kind of kick or hit when i go over speed pump ,but only in front end. i feel like the springs are pushing the wheels hard at end of speed pump

is that normal after the lift ?

Should of gotten the 132Ls
132s are stock length shocks
Should be no noise at all
Did you tighten the sway bar ends with full weight on the ground?
Did you check everything, had a guy call in yesterday and he thought something was wrong with his lift, turns out a sway bar end he didn't even touch during the install was now rattling

The 132L shocks in the rear would be much better - I'm afraid the ones you installed may be damaged if they are extended.

As for the noise...My factory upper control arms constantly hit the coil spring in the front and made a lot of noise, even on smaller bumps. However, when I first installed mine I tightened the sway bar links when the Jeep was on jack stands and they made a lot of noise. When I tightened them with all four wheels on the ground the sound went away.

Now that I have JBA upper control arms no more banging on the coil springs.

Did you get the front end aligned right away?

In what situation will the rear shocks extend so i can avoid it ?
mostly am into sand driving.

am not sure if they lossen the sway bar while installing the lift ,is a must do ?
if they have loosen it then i belive they have tighten it again while car is in the air.

yes i got it aligned right away ,bu the guy didnt do Computerized allighment.
he did it manually :icon_sad:

you think i should go and do alignment again proper way and let them tighten the sway bar with wheels on ground ?

Thanks Alot Bob,

Thanks Alot Bob,

If one or the other side of the rear axle does not extend all the way then the shocks will be OK - but all it takes is one bump or drop to ruin the shock when it over-extends. It may be fine but keep and eye on both rear shocks.

Yes, I would have the alignment done on a computerized rack if one is available. The sway bar links would typically be removed to drop the lower control arm far enough to get the shocks in and out - especially since the front is lifted with the OME springs. Tightening them with the Jeep on the ground is the proper procedure.

Hi Tom,
Ok at first i think they tightend the sway bar with car in air ,then there was kind of minor harsh hit on pumps.

then yesterday i did computerized alignment and let them tighten it again with load on ground. but they couldnt do the caster left and right they sayed its on maximum adjust.

and today i toke my first offroad small trip then the harsh hit it much harder i thought somthing broke .
then later i looked under the car to see what is it i found the UCA balljoins and grease allround on both sides ,check below photos

Hey Bob,

I have done the alignment on computerised rack ,and had the sway bar joins loosen and tightened again with full load on ground ,but no change in that small hit on pumps.

what do you mean by ( The sway bar links would typically be removed )
you mean removing totally ? or just retightening them again with car on ground ?

Yep and grease coming out of a OEM upper ball joint is not a good sign.

To start I'd say get the longer teraflex bumpstops before some serious damage is done! (if it isn't already)
