Tom, you're not kidding - quite a crowd in Stanton!

Ted's RL rack looks really good. Is he gonna paint it black or bedline or...?

Took ours over to the CILs (cousin-in-law's) place roday to check on a weak blower fan, then went out on his cabin cruiser for a ride. Nice day for a boat ride.

At one point, we had 3 Libby's in the driveway: the CILs '06, my '05 and their other cousin's daughter's '02.

New driver's side window regulator.
I got a cheap one off ebay just like i did for the passenger side at the beginning of the summer. It's best if you use your OEM motor though because the cheap one is loud. Takes a minute to swap them. I realized that using the auto down it was bottoming out, since I bought it 6 years ago and then finally the tube gave way the the worm came slithering out. Now it comes down and stops smoothly, can't even hear it stop where before it banged a little.

Saturday, Towed back a new to me 2008 Smokercraft Pro angler 171 with a 115 Optimax about 750 KM. 3rd gear OD off, 2400 rpm, 90 km/h while getting 15 - 16.5 L/ 100KM, or around 14 -15 mpg.

Considering without the trailer I get 17.5 mpg at 75 MPG without towing 2500 +lbs I'd say it isn't too bad.

For the record, i had no chance of towing this thing with stock gearing in 4th gear unless i pushed way past the speed limit.

Then i launched it yesterday. Pics when i dump the camera.

Also hit 100,000 KM after 6.5 years.

Time to regear
Then you'll get way better mileage and can pull it easier

Are you planning on relocating the washer bottle?

No. The tire doesn't rub on or near the bottle. The only rub I have is in reverse when near full lock and it rubs on the pinch weld which I flatten as much as I could.

Today modded my cigarette lighter to cut off when I shut the Jeep off so I don't have to disconnect my gps anymore.

Changed my water pump... After 131,000 miles. Installed steering wheel controls for the radio (works awesome) and changed the fan speed resistor card behind the glove box. Everything is working great now and had lots of fun working on the Jeep as always.

Unless a 410 front diff drops in my lap for the right price i'll be saving for jba SIFS and DTT with 456 front and rear.

No way i'll be staying open / open if i take the plunge.
