Did a 260 round trip to the farm to get home place ready for winter for the parental units. Got a ton of work done even with them following me around ! :happy175: But hey I hope when I'm almost 90 and 85 I can even get out of a chair by myself .

NOW ON TO JEEP THING
Found a paper last week where I counted how many times the 03 downshifted on hills down and back with 265-70-16s and 3.73s.
both ways 68 times, this was an average of 3 trips
Counted today with same tires, but 4.10s
both ways 9
Now I know totally unscientific, but I've driven this same road for a lot of years, always run 75 or so on Interstates ( about 200 total, ) 55 or so on two lanes ( 48 miles total ) 5 miles on one lane dirt ( at 25-30 )
So while many variables of course I think its interesting the huge difference gearing makes

Those R2's should displace water/slush well.
The blackvue 490 is that one double side/front rear views?
Would like to see pic of how it's installed...
I just have a Media sonic, suction mounted one, better than nothing around this crazy driver town.

Re did my rocker panels. Sanded them down. Mud'd where needed sanded some more. Perfect blend for base coat/clear but went with bedliner with a top coat of OEM black
Under the step guards I used fluid flim to coat the insides. Also used FF inside the bottom of the door holes and coated the underside. Should be well protected.
Bought the fluid film wand too. I got that stuff everywhere ;)
Also found out rear passenger side step guard has your vin# under it - sneaky bastards

That's a beauty...wonder what happened to the wood? I love the black and dark blue ones.

Wouldn't count on it,that list of issues would exceed this forums band width.

Thinking the same. Don't see them here much because they're most decomposed. But good luck nonetheless, hope it gives you satisfaction.

Ya HJ I agree a black or dark blue would be better by far.
Even tho I like the paint work, I know if I did buy it, I would not like the interior/carpet color.

Knowing my luck it would be $6k to redo it all inside, so I'm going to pass.
I keep looking locally for one, they are hard to come by in really good shape.

Removed my common rail today so I guess it's just a diesel now.

Freakin' impossible solenoid connector just came off easy once it was the last thing hanging on. Just gotta drag them little vampires into the light of day; they hate that.

Man I would never ever change the interior color, would ruin the whole overall vibe of a classic . Mine had the same color interior back in the day, loved it

My second car as a teen was a 71 wagoneer, grass green, lifted, and lovely. These pictures are making me miss it something fierce. It was called"The Pickler"

Returned last night from my hunting trip. Total of 680 miles on the KJ with zero issues other than needing a jump start after sitting for a week (forgot to use my new battery disconnect), and the dreaded fuel burp when I miscounted how many gallons I needed for a fill-up. Its definitely not set up for long highway drives but got me where I needed to go on the road, so I could go off-road to camp when I got there.
