Nice, what about the throttle body from the 4.7?

Still waiting on it to get here:thumbsdown: Supposed to be a direct bolt on. It gives you a bit bigger opening. I'm planning on a port and polish before I install it. Waiting to see what I need to adapt it to the 2004 tube.

X2^^ Would The IAC still not control or limit the airflow even with larger bore?

From what I understand the IAC only controls the idle speed. The go pedal controls the throttle.

Any idea what the change in dimension will be?

Ok did some checking on the internet. Outside diameter (where intake tube attaches ****difference, inside diameter ***difference (before porting and polishing) at the smallest point.

Edit: see dimensions in post below!

Did you measure with calipers, the venturi area where the throttle blade is, that area tapers down. Pretty sure the 4.7 TB had a few mm over the 3.7's.

I jumped the gun thinking there was no difference but there is not a 1/2" difference in the outside measurement like I have read. Only about 2mm as you can see. 3.7 is 65mm in and out. 4.7 is 65mm in & 68mm out. Once ported & polished it should be 68mm in and out.

Yesterday gave it a bath, top & bottom, and quickie wax.

Today drove my husband to our nephew's house to fix his gas furnace before the real cold set in. Turned out to be three issues...but it's fixed and 69° (set point) in the house after not getting above 62° for a week and not above 55° for the week before.

Got it aligned today after the lift install... The ride is sooo much better than a week ago!

Hey Bob, have you looked at the new JBA coilovers
Seen in your sig this Future: JBA coilovers
Man I would love to get a new set that you can adjust !:gr_grin:
Being able to adjust the compression and rebound separably on them and tune in whatever ride you wanted is going to be great for sure .
