TPMS(tire pressure monintoring system)

Hi All,

Anyone have any info on a cheap TPMS code readers? I have a bad tire sensor coming up on the overhead and dash light. The dealer wants 100 just to read it. Tire shops around here don`t know anything about a reader for it or any info.

Your going to have to spend at least $1500 for scanner that will read TPMS,best just pay the $100 at the dealer and be done with it.

While we are discussing TPMSs, I/ve heard some of you talk about it telling you which tire was low (front right, etc..) Mine only shows the symbol on the dash, as I have no overhead display.

Also, if it does show which tire is low, what happens when you have the tires rotated? Do you need to re-program the TPMS for it's new location?
