it's looking good. I will probably follow your lead on several of these upgrades. I just replaced my radiator and it took me 2 and half hours. I like your antenna mount...it seems like it has been discussed already...can you point me to the thread elsewhere on the site?

As usual, my joy was short-lived...

thanks. if you are still looking for CB mounting options, I used a piece of sheet aluminum ("re-purposed" street sign stock) and made a bracket that is held in place by the visor screws/posts.

Not a bad spot! I like mine though. It's farther up in the thread.

Rear upper control arm replacement. Never underestimate the BFH!

Skid row gas tank skid. Fits beautifully and I can finally not worry about being lit on fire! With the new gas tank straps and upper control arm my whole rear end is redone.

Also meshed behind my grille and relocated my newly amped PA speaker. I can really be a nuisance now!

I thinks a front brake job is up next this spring (if it ever comes its currently snowing and we just broke the all time record....)

Just want to confirm I am getting the right things after researching. I am going with Napa adaptive one pads.

NAPA AUTO PARTS

And ultra premium rotors

I know I need brake grease and brake cleaner. Any other hardware I should replace while I am in there? Should I use loctite on the caliper bolts or will the proper torque be good enough?

if I am not mistaken the adaptive one pads already come with a packet of brake grease.

You might want to service the caliper sliders by cleaning them and regreasing them.
If the brake caliper is sticking, you can get reman ones or re do the piston yourself.

Blue loctite is up to you. I used some on mine.

Thanks for the info! The sliders I use brake grease correct? And I definitely need to check out my pistons. I think I have something going on weird in there. Any idea what that entails?

yup. brake grease on the clips and sliders.

It's pretty much whether the piston is stuck. the rotor should be able to spin easily. If not then you'll need to put in a new piston or replace the whole caliper.

I don't think my neighbors appreciated me bedding my brakes though hah. Also made myself a little queasy doing it. All seems well. My slides and clips were basically dry of grease. No wonder I had problems. All good now but I will add that to the oil change checklist. Also greased my upper control arms.
