I heard a loud clanking noise from the right front of my 05 Liberty while making a left turn and now the steering feels loose. Any ideas on what could be happening?

Wow, hard to say without hearing the noise but could be a variety of things
Anywhere from a CV going out to a bad wheel bearing.
Did it do it all of a sudden or gradually get worse and louder?
