The covers are different. In the picture is a regular Dana 30 Lube Locker gasket on a Liberty Dana 30A Housing.

Well, it's not the first time I've been wrong and certainly won't be the last. Definitely nice to know for certain.

I have another question off the subject , Do you have any idea how much weight the luggage rack bars on our jeeps will support? I was planning on making my own cross bars that will hold plenty but I don't know what the existing bars can handle. Thanks , and Happy New Year
150 lbs if I remember right

I went ahead and placed the order for the AA ET93 - didn't wait for him to send me anything (figured he was maybe trying to do it outside of Alibaba). $386 total. It was very straightforward - no different than ordering off Amazon or Ebay. I'll post back here if and when it shows up.

Let us know what you end up doing Chris Lepper and we can compare notes.

Anyone want a 8000ish mile Powertrax Grip Pro GT308229 Torsen rear diff?
My Alibaba e-locker for my rear diff arrived today - almost 6 weeks so delivery was just as promised. It all looks good but since the locker is wrapped in that delicate brown oily paper to prevent rust I decided not to unwrap it completely yet (I have another project going right now so this one will have to wait). There is a wiring harness with an inline fuse and a dashboard switch. There is also a fairly thick book of instructions I have not cracked open yet.

Yes I got mine as well. After searching a bit I realized it's the same as an Eaton E locker. Even says E locker on the carrier. Got all the installation materials as well. Haven't proceeded due to health issues.

Hope you're on the mend Chris. I remember seeing an Australian video review of what I suspect is the same locker (different branding) and the gal said that it was the same design as the older Eaton. I don't remember exactly but she said she liked this design better because it was more robust than the current Eaton design - this one has 4(?) pins (tangs?) and the new Eaton has 6(?) or 8(?) pins, but they're smaller and break easier. (I don't actually remember the number of pins / tangs she said was in either but apparently the older Eaton had less than the new one does). This of course could all be wrong so take it with a pinch of salt.

Yeah on the mend. Thanks for asking. Are you going to install this yourself?

Not going to set me off, in fact I'll try to stir the pot here :) I was looking at e-lockers for the Liberty's Chrysler 8.25 on Alibaba yesterday - shipped price is somewhere in the $370 - $420 range for a complete kit so pretty insane. I suspect one factory in China makes the air lockers and e lockers and then various companies sell them under their own name (AA [Adventure Awaits], XJX, TRE4x4, ORE4x4). Model number for the air locker is RD93 which almost certainly fits our Chrysler 8.25. The model number for the e locker looks to be ET93 but some conflicting info out there makes me wary about pulling the trigger. Seems there is a non c-clip Chrysler 8.25 out there and I can't tell for sure if the ET93 is for that one or for our c-clip version of the 8.25. Or maybe there are 2 versions of the ET93? C-clip and no C-clip? I've been asking questions and getting several "yes it fits your vehicle" answers but not sure if they're just desperate to make a sale and I imagine once they have your money they're not going to take returns.
Here are some e locker links:

Here is one for the air locker:

There are plenty of Dana 30 lockers on there too - same factory, same brands, but I'm going to stick with my Torsen on the front.

If the threatened 60% tariffs go into effect these diffs won't seem like such a bargain so some urgency here if anyone wants one. And if the delivery dates quoted are true (Feb) buying now might mean you get hit with massive tariffs / import fees when it reaches the US? Not sure how that works.
Hi, so can anyone confirm if any of these elockers support the C-Clip version? I purchased an elocker from a European distributor and they mentioned nothing about the C-Clip! so before I buy can anyone confirm if the XJX--ET93-E does support the C-Clip version? i appreciate it say's that it does but we know what the Chinese are like! and if not can someone advise on one that dose work?

Not likely. It's a special diff cover on the KJ.

I ran a powetrax no-slip for a while. It's a lunchbox style so works with any ratio.

The full-carrier replacement locker (i.e. TrueTrac) is a more involved install. The carrier break is 3.54- and 3.73+ for the Dana 30.
How did you like the powertrax no slip?
Does it act like a real locker and pull you out better in the mud and do better while crawling?

Since I have not installed mine yet I can't actually confirm 100% it fits the c-clip (Chrysler 8.25) version. However, I asked the Alibaba seller about 3 different ways and each time he said yes, it is the c-clip version. I just looked in the box and it does have the "window" where you insert the c-clips but it looks like they might be a snug fit. I don't have a c-clip handy to verify it will fit in there but I assume it can be done, even if a little grinding on the outside of the c-clips is required. I had to do that when I installed the LSD that's currently in there.

I loved it. It is a real locker.

The caveat was it didn't play nice with the np242's full-time mode, so I took it out.

Afaik, all the Chrysler 8.25" use c-clips.

Other Jeep diffs like the Dana 35 and 44 may have come either way.

I guess since mine is the AA ET93 I shouldn't be answering questions on the XJX--ET93-E, even though I was assuming they're exactly the same. So I should revise my answer to "I don't know".

Hi,
So I have been talking to Alibaba about the XJX-ET93-E, and they have come back and said that it’s still in development! So I message XJX directly, and they have sent me this information, on your opinion would you trust what they are saying? And would it definitely my car?
Also cost wise it’s 350$ to buy and then shipping costs (to the UK) were either 136$ or 214$ depending on how quickly I need it.

Sorry, I can't say for sure since I ordered one of the others and have not confirmed whether the one I have even fits yet. Based on what you attached though it does appear to be the correct one for a c-clip Chrysler 8.25 even though they only list 1997 - 2000. The "still in development" statement is a bit worrying though. We're gambling a bit in order to get a really inexpensive locker here but hopefully it pays off.
