i recently purchased renegade side bars, transmission, and a tcase skid.
our shop burned down and these were inside.
i can get paid for them, or keep them. renegade side bars had melted end caps. i will probably not keep those.

the skid plates are fine (under things on concrete floor, no damage. but should i keep them or turn them in? how hard are they to find if i want to buy new?
the plates were all from a 2005 liberty, the guy told me one would fit, and one would need holes drilled. cant remember which, can i still buy these online? if i can insurance will reimburse, but if not i will keep the ones i have

I think they'd be ok to use. Sorry to hear about your shop.

But my dealer had the best prices and no shipping on mine, so that's where I got mine. Mine's an 05, didn't have to drill a hole.

i think they are ok to use also, but if i can get new in box with hardware for no cost to me then i will. but if they are going to be hard to track down then i wont. looks like the one on ebay is right, and they list transmission ones on ebay too, but no exact pictures.

The ****** skid is about $70 from the dealer - they are only listed as being for '05s and later but you can mod them slightly to get them to fit. I put an '05 ****** skid on my '03 and had to drill a couple of holes to insert the supplied NutZerts.

Transfer case skids are pretty easy to find. DaveysJeeps.com has a few used ones pretty cheap. And if you need the endcaps for the side bars let me know. I have a set laying in the garage that really need to go. I can pull the caps off and we'll work something out pretty cheap.

Sorry about your shop. Hopefully some good comes of it with some add-ons to your Jeep.

i might take you up on the end caps for the renegade bars, i dont know if you can even get those at the dealer or not...they were also from a 2005.
i will try to call the dealer and see if i can get renegade side bars, if not i will take you up on the end caps.
