Bug shield from Renegade

so i know someone selling a brand new bug shield for the KJ. it states for a renegade and it wont fit a sport.

my question is why not? I havent noticed much difference in the hood/grill area but maybe i dont look enough.

The later KJ Renegades had a flat hood instead of a rounded one.

Boy that front clip looks an awful lot like a JK's.

I had a bugshield on my 04 Liberty Sport but have since removed it. It never kept the bugs off of my windshield and mud & dirt would get trapped beneath it. It's more for looks, the "unibrow" look.
