Your words
"the stock ones are geo trackers"
That is dead wrong
In production
Fine let's see
H3 hummer
Like it or not they have the gearing and V8 option
Not sure but I know there is or was an option
for 4 to 1 low range and the I5 comes with 4.56's
The V8 gets 4.10's
There is also options for front and rear lockers
So let's see
4 to 1 low (Jeep Rubicon ties)
4.56's (hummer win)
V8 (hummer win)
1/2 ton running gear (standard H3 so only Rubicon tie)
Now granted modified JK win but out the box or off
The dealer lot H3 win

Ever seen an h3 offroad? The have the tendency to get stuck. Didnt know they had factory lockers tho. Learn something new every day. But one competitor? Its not like land rover is offering much these days. Evoque? Haha. I'd say the f150 rapt or is legit

Well why not throw the Dodge Power Wagon into the mix then?????
Comes standard with 2 inch lift, winch, skid plates, front/rear locking diffs, 4.56 gears, can tow 17,600 lbs
choose either the hemi with 383 HP and 400 lb torque or the Cummins with 350 HP and 650 torque

I thought the Power Wagon was gas only? Did it change for 2012?

I did as well but pulled some 2011 info and had the Cummins listed now the 2012 only gasser, so maybe someone screwed up on the listing i was looking at
Regardless its a pretty good setup straight out of the box with a price tag I can only dream of

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Currently produced? A stock sami? I love the samurais but the stock ones are geo trackers.

It's still being produced.

For the US market the H1 is hands down the best stock offroader with a driver that has been trained how to drive it(Known trained drivers in those youtube vids).Optional E-lockers or standard Torsion diffs.Sure still only has a 2.72:1 t-case and 3.54 gears in the diffs but also has a extra 2:1 reduction in the geared hubs. Also has CTIS as a option, both electric winch(front and rear) or hydrualic winch(front only) options. Can haul upwards of 7500lbs payload and tow just as much at the same time. Not to mention the most ground clearance of any vehicle(stock production) at 18",option to ford 60" of water, and unless you option for the alloy rims comes standard with dual internal beadlocks(and run flats).

Well duh the h1. Aside from it being wider than hell its nothing short of incredible. But that sami better have a serious set of skids if it wants to follow a rubi. It doesn't look higher than my moms Pacific from the ground.

Back to the topic, the jk had some corners cut on production. Some are OK like plastic fenders and bumper (cheap to replace if damaged) but some aren't (the 3.8L ****-******). Worth 30 grand? Negative. They should start at 14 and go to 25 max.
If jeep had the sence to wrangler up a liberty *ie sfa, optional lockers, i can see it being a serious force to be reckoned with
