sent using the dark side of the force

Wow really every Jeep
I guess at your age you would not remember that up until '95 every Jeep
Every Jeep had leafs at all 4 corners besides the GC
and before the GC they all had leafs
So the worse ever not quite

Love those old Wagoneers, those were some Jeeps there.Had one of those also.

x2...love them. Been casually looking at Grand Wagoneers.

XJ's were quite the leader in technology when they came out... to say they are ancient now is...well obvious? They've been dead for 11 years...

XJs have been dead for 11 years yet it seems like millions are still on the road. Most of them still look pretty good.

back when that tech was OK? No the xj went into 01 and there is no excuse. You didn't bring up the weak unibody too. If its a dedicated wheeler, yes the xj is alright. Dd, not so much.

I've driven more jeeps than I've owned. Cj yj tj jk wj kj kk lj and jku. I've ridden in a Cherokee chief.

Millions were sold over a long period. Hell my neighbor has one to drive in the snow. 25k on a 97? He drives a Prius daily.

Don't you guys remember? Whatever Matt is currnetly driving is the best in the world, and everything else sux. Just ask him and he'll tell ya:icon_razz:

Till you wheel one, you don't know. In 2015 when they refresh the jk and UPGRADE the current issues, the jkr is the most capable out of the box wheeler.

Actually the JK(including Rubicon versions) is not the most capable "out of the box" wheeler.I'd say it's in the top 10 but definitely not in the top 5.

i don't hear you offering anything better!! My jeep doesn't have lockers or good gearing a great low range. The jkr does. What else comes with factory lockers? Fj? Raptor maybe

Really weak unibody
Is that the best you got?
How many have you seen being wheeled on 35's or 37's
With the doors chopped or removed?
Or with the rear top chopped?
What do you thing is holding them up if the unibody
is as weak as you claim?
maybe it is the force

In no order...............

Hummer H1's
Suzuki Samurai
Older Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers(hate to say it)
D90's
Any Unimog
International Harvester Soft-top Safari II

And that's not getting into the Russian stuff.

Currently produced? A stock sami? I love the samurais but the stock ones are geo trackers.

And your lack of wisdom shows
Sami's had SFA tracker had IFS
Tracker had the "good engine" a 1.6L EFI
which is a bolt in for the Sami
The Suzuki that crossed to the tracker was
the Sidekick ,JX IIRC was the letter designation
