I'm currently at 3 inches of lift with 31s. How high do i have to go to get 35s on this thing? Is it possible?

Not going to happen with IFS still unless you want to drop $50k+ to have a IFS system fab'd up to clear 35" tires on a KJ and be able to turn. You'd also need to gear to at least 4.88's which means the D30A must go and you have to grind teeth on the ring gear to install the center pin for the 8.25 rear.

By the time you finish fabbing for 35"s, you could already have built up a nice little TJ and fit 35"s to it...

Just around the corner from me is a late 70's T-bird grafted onto a 4x4 chassis(!)

I've helped build 2 Camaros, one VW bug , one 70 Chevelle Malibu Convertible onto 4 wheel drive frames all were daily drivers and looked great as far as builds go
Of course these were built as well all on 38s and 40s ( back in he late 70s )
