2007 Sport Liberty Automatic Dipstick Replacement

Hi All:

I am wanting to replace the "plug" in my automatic transmission dipstick tube with an actual dipstick.

My mechanic said to find a 2005 Liberty Sport dipstick and it would be a direct fit.

My problem is, if I go to this URL:

I am offered two different dipsticks of different lengths, etc.

I'm not sure which one to choose.

Your mechanic is full of it
You need more than a stick

The first one listed is for the CRD and the second one is for the 3.7L.


That said you probably need more than that.....like the tube the dipstick slides into. If it were me I would go to the dealer parts dpt as they have the OEM manuals showing all the parts needed.

Yes they are like the KKs have to monitor transmission temps when measuring amount of fluid in them. Can't just stick a dip stick in and call it good.
