    2003 Jeep Liberty 4X4 - Trail Ready!

Sorry, but the bumpers are custom one-of-a-kind. I made them myself out of 3/16" plate steel. My first metal fab project actually. I fab'd them up out of 3/16" foamboard first to make sure I liked the looks of it, then transfered those pieces to the plate steel to cut the pieces. I was very...

    2003 Jeep Liberty 4X4 - Trail Ready!

Nope. I feel like it has plenty of power with the 3.73's in there. In low range offroad it pulled like crazy. I had a guy test drive it today in Nashville. This guy owns a V10 Ford F250 that he wants to trade for the Libby and I mentioned to him that he could regear to 4.10's to get more bottom...

    Front Axle housing Broke....

And even with those, you can break it. We've got one known failure with the collar AND a DTT.

    Front Axle housing Broke....

LOL. Troy, a Ferrari doesn't make your SFA look cheap... :)

    Front Axle housing Broke....

I twisted a CV shaft in half right past the inner splines. (aftermarket NEW auto parts store one - GSP I think). I had the DTT in there, no collar. I thought for sure I'd busted the housing, but nope. I've abused mine fairly hard, and continue to, so it's just a matter of time... I'm trying...

    Tpms ?

I was afraid of that. Well, it saves me a hundred bux or so knowing that. I'd kill for a system that was push button air up/air down system. :)

Can't say I'd vouch for the guy. He's shady... And that SFA looks horrible. He should just give it to me :)

    Tpms ?

I have never had TPMS and I was considering upgrading but I read somewhere that it only worked when if you were going 25mph or more. Can one of you guys with TPMS confirm? The only reason I want it is for monitoring air on the trail. If they don't work at low speeds they would be useless to me...

    Subwoofer Box, Work in progress

Oh and you can bend wood. I've bent 1/2" marine plywood for sub enclosures before. You put a concrete block under the center, weight on each end and then put a little bit of water on it. Do this over several days and it will bend very nicely, be very strong in the end, and marine plywood is...

    Subwoofer Box, Work in progress

I can tell you that two 8's under the seats will sound great. I have 2 soundstream 8's under mine and I couldn't be happier. I used to have a 10" kicker in the back and the 2 8's outperform the Kicker by a long shot! I have a false floor (a really short box) in my cargo area for the amps. Then I...

    Subwoofer Box Update w/Pictures

I'd like to see pics mounted too. Those are very nice looking boxes and they look to have more room than the ones I did, without cutting the carpet out. I did the original set, but on mine I cut the carpet out undrneath to give more room. I know that wouldn't be something most people would...

How far are you from Uwharrie? There are trails you can do there stock. Actually several. You will porbably want some skids though. You can get the front three skids for less than $200 from the dealer though if money is tight.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

I was under the impression that the reciever was built into the Evic. Is this not the case? Can someone verify? Rescu2000

    Yet another Skid Question

Which Skids cost you the least amount of ground clearance? I'm assuming that there is a difference in them of course... Thanks Rescu2000

    New Tires

Just put some BF Goodwrench T/A KO's on my Libby. I'll get some pics up soon. They look GREAT on there. Very aggressive tread with little road noise. I got the 245/70/16's and they only rub on the sway bar. It would have probably hit the pinch weld cover, but I had already flattened that. I also...

    Subwoofer install

The amp rack will be enclosed with a lid that opens. It'll be completely carpeted on top so that it looks like the floorboard when you look in (Stealth install). When it is open, the lid will raise against the back seats and have a mirror on the underside. I'll have fans to circulate the air...

    Sub Under Seat Install Beginning

Possibly. You just can't fold the seats down if you do.

    Subwoofer install

Check out my under the seat install that I just did. I'm working on the amp rack now. It'll be in the cargo area, similar to what you are talking about. It will be 4" tall total so that it is flush with the curves in the sides (you'll see when you look at your jeep) Rescu2000...
