    instrument cluster LEDs '03 KJ

Dangit....well, at least it's not a case of 'operator error.' Thanks for letting me know. Any idea where I could find any information on the base? According to the manual, the bulb itself is a '103' (aka 74), but unfortunately that doesn't help me with the base size.

    instrument cluster LEDs '03 KJ

Hey all, I've been slowly converting my KJ over the LEDs, but ran into a snag with the cluster. I'm hoping someone out there can help. So, I purchased a pack of PC74 LED's (these) , but they won't fit into the circuit board. Am I doing something wrong here or are these the wrong bulbs or bases...

    help identifying a hose

Thanks! The AC system is something I've never needed to mess with, so I don't feel too bad for not knowing what the hose was. I'll see if I can get it in someplace after the holiday, I guess. At least it waited until summer was over! Thanks again for your help!

    help identifying a hose

Hello, I think I've tracked a leak down to a particular hose on my 03' Renegade, but I have no idea what it's called. I've searched through the repair manual, and googled for some kind of visual parts guide, but I've had no luck. It's probably stupidly simple, so I apologize ahead of time...

fender flares: mod or fabricate for a Renegade?

Actually, I've been haunting Car-Part.com almost daily. The flares listed either can't be shipped, or are too expensive for me at the moment. (I just had to replace a window reg. clip, coolant tank and hose, and spark plugs. Last month it was the radiator, both radiator hoses, thermostat, and...

fender flares: mod or fabricate for a Renegade?

Ah, I was afraid of that. I've never seen a 05-07 'naked,' so I've no idea just how different the body structure is under there. Anyway, thanks for the reply!

fender flares: mod or fabricate for a Renegade?

Hi all, For over a year now I've been hunting for a front-passenger side 03' Renegade flare, and I'm about to give up. Everything I've found is too pricey for me. So, I've considered trying to mod a regular flare into a Renny, make one from scratch, or convert a pair of 05'-07's to work...

Shellzone antifreeze? Anyone know what this stuff is?

Thanks all! I called the shop today and they kept telling me that the Shellzone met and exceeded Chrysler specs, that it'd been approved for use in my Jeep, that they had to do tons of research before a coolant was OK'd... yadda yadda.... But, they are getting the HOAT coolant from the dealer...

Shellzone antifreeze? Anyone know what this stuff is?

Hey all, My KJ gave me a nasty surprise on Friday, and I had to have a new radiator, thermostat, and trans cooler hose put in. Now that I've got it home, I was going to finish the job by replacing the radiator hoses and water pump myself, but I discovered that the shop put in 'Shellzone...

    Blinker problem

I have a similar issue right now...except my turn signal filament isn't burnt out, it's just not working. The other two filament(s) illuminate, making for a very dim blinker. I've tried three different bulbs and swapped the fuse, but it's still not fixed. Eventually I'll get around to...

    tensioner/serpentine belt sizes?

Thanks, dude1116! It's all fixed now. We were able to salvage enough of the shredded belt to make out the stock number, and from there determined which tensioner was needed. For anyone else with a similar issue, here is my engine and which parts I needed: 3.7L V6, on a 2003 Renegade: -3.5"...

    tensioner/serpentine belt sizes?

Thanks, JeepJeepster! What size is the stock size, though? Or how would I find out? None of the 'OEM' listings I've seen give a size, and all the others (OReilly's, Autozone, etc) give at least two sizes.

    tensioner/serpentine belt sizes?

Hey all, What length serpentine belt and diameter belt tensioner would I need for my 03' Renegade 3.7L? This has been driving me crazy, so I hope somebody can help. My KJ died Thanksgiving morning, and I discovered that the tensioner had seized up, threw its' outer ring, and mangled the...

Looking for flare bracket part number...

UK_CRD: It's a 2003, but the bracket is probably the same or very similar for most Renegades. dude1116: Thanks! I pulled the one bracket I have off today and it looks like there might be a number buried under all the dirt...lol. I'll clean it up and see what I can find.

Looking for flare bracket part number...

Hey all, Would anyone happen to know the part number(s) for the flare brackets? Or where I can buy some replacements? I removed my front flares for painting and discovered that the passenger side is missing both brackets, and the driver's side is missing the rear. Despite multiple searches I...

    Hard start 03 liberty

Any progress on the issue? I'm having this same problem on my 03' Renegade. The battery, starter, and alternator all checked out fine, and I thoroughly cleaned the throttle body and replaced the IAC sensor. Right after that, it started like a champ, but the next day the starting problem was...

How do you get the chrome looking plastic rivets off the Renegade flares?

I was curious about this too, as I want to paint my flares with bed-liner but preserve the chrome bolts. Here's another thread talking about it and the solution: LOST JEEPS - View topic - chrome flare nuts on a 06 renegade

    Lightbar switch connector/molex help?

Er...yeah...got that covered already. :-s All I need to know is what the correct pin-out is, and ideally what the wires are. Then I will be able to attach the wires to my relay, fuses, and switch correctly. Already got my hands on a relay and a pair of inline fuses, so it's just a matter of...
