OP - you are doing yourself a great service by doing your homework on both companies - let the recent responses regarding their successes/failures and customer "satisfaction" levels of each company direct your decision. Hopefully you will find yourself the better for it.

Box - Semantics

No agenda here either, but it seems like yours is an isolated case as far as fitment. Sorry that happened its frustrating Im sure. If there are any other fitment issues out there let them post, not jumping on anyone because they had a problem. But one problem doesn't make it a bad product true or false? And I know the buisness issues thats another story.

Not isolated, as I stated before members here and lost bashed anyone with a product or business problem. Some are long gone, others have chosen not to post.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
And RL has fitment issues to!
Mine do not fit correctly.
Funny how hundreds of his products have been sold and only 2 fitment issues, yours and the others was wrecked(rear bumper). It was not the rails that was the issue, wrecked vehicle or installer error.

Hell I probably set your rails in the jig like many, many others.Going to bad mouth me now?

Good/Bad

Consumer reviews by anyone are about as reliable as eyewitness testimony, less than 50% correct. Many consumer's and businesses have their own agenda so there is little to rely on there as well. I do not have any personal experience with either company but Rock Lizard has stopped more than once to get things corrected and have been unable to do this. Running a business is a complicated and scary thing and many cannot do this no matter how good the product. And remember vehicles are not built to the tightest tolerances in the world.

Again not true! You can tell your stories but no one else can. This is exactly why nobody wants to post their RL troubles.
One of Marty's excuses for taking 5 months was he had No Help. So guess your calling him a liar, too.

Well I found another email address over the weekend for RL so I sent an email as well as left a voice mail. To date I have not had a reply. JCR however did reply back and even responded to my follow up email as well. I'll be purchasing these by the end of the month and at this point it looks like JCR unless I can find some RL used or they reply to my voice mail or email. BTW JCR only makes the angled bar now, I asked of they would make one with the side bar straight out and they said no. :(

Sort of tell here how the different angle of the bar gives you more of a flat service but also better protection off road

The RL bars might be badass. But when the "company" is no longer (at present) making or offering stuff for the Liberty (per their own website), and they don't communicate with a customer after having held your long lost money for months on end, there's no reason to promote them.

Parts still being shipped out, just catching up again maybe .
While most think that every owner of a modded KJ is on some website , many are not. Ran into a RL rear bumpered/ rock rails and rack over in Pa last August. The guy had a really nice setup KJ, but had never heard of LOST, JEEPKJ, JeepForum or none of the regular websites.
