    My new ZJ

I never had them before, but they look like a descent tread on them. They're like brand new, so I can't justify taking them off and putting larger tires on it like I'm so tempted to do...so I'll run them for now and see how they are.

    My new ZJ

Yeah, I should be able to go to the dealer that it was serviced at and get the service records. Supposedly the owner made a lot of trips to the Florida with it, so a lot of these miles may be highway. Here's a couple more pics from today.

    My new ZJ

Well, I didn't plan on buying this. I did however plan to sell the KJ. I was going to go back to a pickup again. I found one I wanted, and my parents wanted my KJ. So I tried to time everything properly and unfortunately it didn't work out, and I lost the truck deal, but my parents had...

    My new ZJ

Picked up this Grand Cherokee on Wednesday. Thought I'd share. :) It's a loaded '97 Laredo with Selec-Trac.

Passenger side mirror Lost its swing capability

I wouldn't imagine it would...just the interior door panel itself, behind that there's probably three screws mounting it to the door, and the wiring harness plug. You should be able to just unplug it and unbolt it off the door and swap in the replacement. I've never done it to one of these...

Reliable site to buy Jeep OEM Wheels

I agree completely, to go buy a new set of 17" or even 16" alloys to run only in winter just isn't practical. I understand that you'd still want it to look nice, but hey, it's wintertime.

    Rust, and warranty?

So the dealership isn't taking it in for the repair until the 17th...that's the earliest they could take it. And they don't provide a loaner while doing the warranty work? That's a little rediculous, what do they expect people to drive..it's not my fault it rusted, why should I fork out cash...

    A very bad night

I had a car catch fire once...a Mazda MX-6 Turbo...the ****** cooler line rubbed through and blew ****** fluid on to the turbo manifold and caught fire as I came of a highway exit. I actually saved that car though and had the fire out with 2 minutes without a fire exstinguisher...towed it home...

    Oil Change prices......

That's exactly what I do. :) They just had the 5 quart on sale here for $17.xx when I just did my last change.

    Oil Change prices......

I know what you mean about the apartment thing. I lived in one up until July...luckily a friend of my dad's worked at Jiffy Lube, and I would go buy my own oil and filter, and he would change it for me for free. :)

    Oil Change prices......

I'd rather just change it myself anyway. I change mine for about $25, including 5 quarts of Mobile 1 and a Purolator Pure 1 Filter. For the 10 minutes it takes to change it, it's not worth taking it anywhere.

    New Liberty Limited

Eh, I've had several vehicles in the 150k plus range with the original pumps on them. I think you should at least get 100k miles, that's generally the suggested interval change with timing belt equipped engines. I was really disappointed in mine when it went with under 50k on it.

    Rust, and warranty?

Not yet, I will call them myself in the morning if they don't call me back today.

    Rust, and warranty?

They had a lot of those at the dealer today, I was out on the lot looking at trucks before I went into service and I ventured over to look at the new Liberties. I still haven't seen any out on the road yet though.

    Considering buying a Liberty

Or you could just take the VIN off the autotrader ad and send it to Jeep through the JEEP website.
