I am constantly shaving something from my underside. I waited almost a year before doing any kind of clearance work. Every couple of months, it begins to rub. I cut away material, its good for a few more months then it starts to rub again. Is this normal ( Im thinking not, at least not this soon ), or did I get a bad set a springs ( which would suck cause now it well past any warranty issue )?

Fender trim and other misc plastic underneath. Not to mention, my front have no tread left either. I wouldn't be able to drive it if it had tread.

Edit: the lift is pretty much what everyone here has done

Those tires are on the big side. I think most are running 265/70 16 to minimize rubbing. Sounds like I have pretty much the same setup as you and i ran 265/75 for a short time because they came with the wheels I bought and they rubbed plenty, both front and back of front wheel well, even with the pinch welds folded. I'm hoping your wheels are 5 inch back spaced? If they're sitting wider than the fenders flares it's only making the problem worse.

duderz7, I can understand your point, but if they cleared with no rubbing issues lets say Oct, full turn left right forward and reverse and then rub in January, so you trim, and you are all clear again in all directions and it starts to rub in March, wouldn't you suspect something wrong with the springs?

Springs do sag some over time, running a small lift with 265-75-16s is close to start, instead of cutting parts off I would replace the springs and shocks

What's your hub to fender flares measurements, that could be very telling. Maybe you've got some spring isolaters going rotten too. Supply some pictures of you can, maybe the experts here will see something amiss. Your situation does seem a bit odd.
