Does anyone know if it is at all possible to run 245/75/16 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2's on a 2004 Renegade, without a lift? Would only be for a few weeks till an OME lift kit is installed.

No, they will rub ALOT

I did a 2" lift and wheel spacers as basic prep to get that size on. I still had rubbing to deal with until I dealt with the pinch weld and some plastic trimming.

Looking for help

I've got an 04 Liberty with 17 in factory wheels, with 235/65 Cooper tires, and I'm lloking to get a set of wheels/tires for wintertime. What can anyone suggest in maybe an easier to locate 16 in diameter that won't effect my speedo??? Thanks.

Depending on the amount of sag you have, either 235-70-16s or if no sag 245-70-16s
on wheels, unlifted, 7 inches wide and 5 inches of back spacing or stockers

Are these talking 16" or 17" wheel? I have 245/65/17 on my limit with no issues, but I found a set of 245/70/17 for a hell of a steal and wonder if they will rub. On tirecalculater.com they say same width and 1" taller.

How much sag?
Measure middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare left front and report back

PLUS a 245-70-17 is 30.6 inches tall, stock tires are about 29 inches tall, you'll need a lift to install those

Depends on what you are trying to go...Go wider, to give better grip, fill the arches and give it more street presence, go taller to give yourself more diff clearance, which makes the speedo inaccurate, or both. Many here seem to advocate using 245/70R16's but with a diameter of 29.5 inches they will only lift the diff 1/4" (6.35mm) over stock 29 inch 235/70R16's (or lower profile 235/65R17's) but will not give an accurate speedo. 255/65R16's wont lift the diff much but are noticably wider and have a diameter of 29.1 inches, close enough to stock to keep the speedo accurate...they will fit without rubbing.
You can also fit 30.1 inch 255/70R16's without rubbing (at least on the back, because I bought mine with the latter tyres fitted on rear and 235/70R16 fitted on the front, both on the stock steel rims). They fit the arches better, lift your diff a lift of 1/2" (12.7mm) but will give you an even more inaccurate speedo (and they will drink more fuel!)....Personally, I prefer to stick with stock 235/70R16's.

With stock 235/70R16, our speedo read slightly high. With 245/75R16s it reads slightly low. Not worth worrying about, IMO.

1.25" spacers push the tires out flush with the flares... seems to look better... even with stock tires.

Grand Cherokee alloys on the KJ also push the tires out a bit more than stock KJ rims, without needing spacers.
