actually they're easy. It's the middle one on each head that's a *****.

Big snap-on cover goes over the transmission hump allowing access to the distributor and rear of the engine.

Intake gaskets are not fun on them either.

Actually even changing a headlight is a PITA

If you like it so much, and bask in the "attention" you get driving it...go buy one!

I never said I was cause my mom owns it.

And so far, its been working in my favor. :D

"Girls can't help but look"......don't you know they are looking at you and wondering why you are driving your Moms car, not because they WANT YOUR BODY!

THINK, key word. These girls don't know how much cars cost.
They just see a young guy in a new shiny car. They automatically think the car kinda expensive and I have money because a young guy can afford one.[/QUOTE]

You continue to amaze me,Merry Christmas. :D

I'm not helping it by spending almost 4k of my own money that I don't have yet on a remanned engine and Labor.

Tell me, how does that not help?
At 17 I was working about 60-80 hours per week between 2 jobs, school, and boozing on the rest of the time.I don't think I slept more then 1-2 hours a night from 13-18 years old, didn't get a good nights sleep until I went to boot camp.Had plenty of money for beer and cars, had about 5 at that time and all ran.

Yup! I got my first car when I was 16 years old. (That green Mini that used to be my Avatar.
Less than 28000 miles as of now! And I still own it!)
I too worked two jobs from age 14 and have been working two jobs up
until I became "disabled" close to five years now...
I too Always had huge roll of cash in my pocket
for whatever I wanted to buy!
I miss working hard for a living...
But I'm working towards starting my own "Speciality" Jeep Liberty
and Classic Mini parts business in the New Year!
I doubt I'll make any real money in the first five years though!
But at least I'll have something to do with my time and I'll be doing what I really enjoy and love doing!

That's the most important thing for me...
A hobby that makes me some cash so that I can further develop both
our KJ and my 1976 and 1979 Classic Mini's!

Jobs are harder to come by for kids my age now-a-day.
I wish I could have found a job getting paid enough to afford atleast 1 car whe I was 16.
You just live in the wrong area. There's thousands of jobs that pay decent that a teenager can fill, just more are located in the middle of the country, very hard back breaking work but the pay is good.

Aye, started working for the local dairy farmer at 12 2 miles from the house under the table. Rode a Honda Spree every night to work in Michigan, regardless of weather.

Sprees do not work so well in two foot deep snow.

20 hrs a week until 16, then 10 hrs a week and 30 hrs a week at the other job.

Really kinda miss the gov't not taking any money out of the ol' paycheck(rotflmao)
