anyone else had trouble with a lot of wind noise coming from he passenger front door? it is the front upper part of the door seal, the gap all around the door is good (visually) and even, no damage or body work to that side.

anything i can do here?
thanks

Ever put anything on the weatherstripping?
Sometimes colder weather etc they get hard and stiff :icon_eek:and won't seal as well
I have some stuff I got at NAPA that works great on them

Is the window fully seated, when up?
I had a howling noise in my ds front window, looked ok,but I put my hand on the back top corner and could push it up a little bit to seal.
Window some times not going up straight?

I agree with tom idea of the cold. When it's -20C and less over here I can ear the wind like I had no windshield. Since it's always -20C during winter over here, I have this problem about 5 month per year :p

its not a new thing to winter. it happens in all seasons. louder depending on wind direction and highway speeds.
i will try cleaning the seal though. you can kind of stick your finger between the metal of the upper door frame and the gasket and the noise gets louder.
maybe i can post some pictures...

Perhaps your Jeep was in a prior crash, where the body or door got tweaked.
Or, the door is out of adjustment (doesn't usually happen by itself) and you need to move the latch striker further in. How do the door to fender and front door to rear door gaps look. Looking at the surface, is the front door sticking out past the rear door?
Or, your seals are just plain ol worn out.
Or, the upper door (window frame) got tweaked out somehow. Somebody yanking out on it to break in is one way. Look at the gap between the top of the door and the roof. Compare that to the other side. If it looks pulled out, you can tweak the upper part of the door in by wedging a block in the lower part of the door jamb at the latch area, then push in on the top frame with a bouncing motion. Try it a little at a time, and be sure to have the window down for this.
