Not a big day of doin' for me today. I did change my antenna - got a short billet one coated black.

Tomorrow I take it in for my first oil change. I got Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w-30 and Napa Gold oil and air filters. I got a Dimple Magnetic Drain Plug (and will add another to the ****** pan next month). And I received the Skid Row transfer case skid plate today, but not sure if I'll get that installed tomorrow.

Jim

Thats a big day for a tuesday i cant get that much done on the weekend

She is getting an alignment as we speak. I pulled into the lot and saw a nice XJ. Had to park beside it. LOL

JeepinLab I like the matches with the license plate and the red color of the lower control arms. I have thought about doing the same thing these days.

I just used caliper paint. Covered well. I did the calipers as well. I think Ill do the rear drums. I just hate when you have rims and can see through and see rust and junk.

-Rear sway bar delete
-"Neutered" driveshaft
-JBA Y Link Extension
-Two extra insulators added to each side in the rear

Lots of driveline vibes now. Going to be putting the weight back on the rear. Otherwise it feels good and looks good.

Now if only I could get this thing aligned...

I use regular rusto rattle can or i have a pint royal blue is my color. Use it on my springs arms lower and upper bunch of stuff but everything starts with a nice coat of primer and gloss black. Little to say my under carriage this time of year looks good enough to eat off of. By the end of winter there is always a spot or two that chipped and developed a little surface rust. No bfd i lay a new coat or two on every summer.

Went to the Dentist... came home with a baby.

Man, my day did NOT go as I expected it.

Thankfully his dad came and got him before I had to change another diaper...

Every time I do an oil change, it seems a bit of oil gets inside the skid.
Last time I had my front skid off, I had to scrape the oily slime/ hard mud inside off with a putty knife! :icon_lol:
Nice paint work. Clear coat too! You went to town!
