Separate, sliders won't make noise unless the caliper is moving. Unless these are the fronts. You bought used tires yes? ThunderbirdJunkie's money is on tire noise. Pics of tires?

I bought new ones definity dakota a/t2s e rated from my work and no those are the rears. And my neighbor said the pad wear could be from not getting the rotors cut since both pads on that rotor have pretty much even wear.

Which means since my silly unthinking self didnt get the front or rear rotors cut when i did them it means new rotors all around! The fronts are fine for now and have plenty of pad left but the rears are getting done asap

You don't turn rotors on modern vehicles. The pad is wearing unevenly because of siezed caliper slides, though. Replace rotors always. They're cheap enough to justify doing it every brake job.

You don't turn rotors on modern vehicles. The pad is wearing unevenly because of siezed caliper slides, though. Replace rotors always. They're cheap enough to justify doing it every brake job.

Ok well any remedy to fix the seized calipers?

EDIT: I forgot to add why do modern vehicles not need to get the rotors cut?

remedy is to get new hardware for the calipers, ( WHICH should be done with every brake job anyways ) Problem is most people slap on a set of pads and away they go and then wonder why they have a problem.
Newer model rotor shouldn't be turned since they are basically a one use rotor. Use them until you need to replace theres not enough material there to turn down safely. Of course some do it but you shouldn't

Don't forget to get the Permatex brake hardware lube. The blue shit with the brush in the cap.

Great stuff.

Modern rotors shouldn't be turned because (THANKS GUBMENT!) they're machined close to minimum thickness during manufacturing so they're lighter so we can save .00000000002 gallons per million miles driven.

about to order my ome 927/948 coils and blisten shocks, got the top plates, clevis spacers and iso's in the mail today today too, and gonna go fill her up

Got it back from my mechanic then took it to sears for warranty on tires. Apparently I knocked off a wheel weight... Whoops... Now at the dealer getting my airbag recall done. They told me I have the nicest looking liberty that ever came into the dealer. :) my day has been made

Just got back from Florida late last night. This was our fifth trip in our 07 pulling a trailer with a motorcycle on it. Our liberty never missed a beat all the way there and back. I love this jeep, best vehicle I've ever owned.
Now I get to spend the day cleaning it up.

decided that from now on i will only run bg fluids in it...engine oil, diff fluid, trans and t-case...everything

they are the best i've ever used...and now i have a friend who is a dealer so i can get them for a good price, insted of paying an insane markup at a dealership....if you aren't running MOA...you are wrong as dick cancer.

checked to see if my 03 had lsd, so far i think so but the sticker was pretty mutilated, just picked her up less than a week ago, shes a five speed and i love it, goin offroad on friday :D
