Well looky that. Way easier if you done it before. Good thing I practiced on Wifey’s Bert a few weeks back.

Of course I’ll get to do it again when here nitro chargers show up. She has determined she “likes the pretty yellow better than the bilstien silver on hers” … redgih Frakkin’ mudurh racking’…..

better do the other side before I run outta daylight and temperature.

Six months of a comedy of errors but, I got some **** done. Special thanks to @tommudd, @lfhoward, @turblediesel, and the rest yinze.

Tomorrow, I got two packages of Jeeps stuff to ship, reship, etc. and a snorkel to finish installing.

Also, last time I’m taking stupid “flex” photos. Couldn’t film Bert rolling over the big snow piles down by the river, but it was gooood.

Took advantage of the weather yesterday and swapped the front bilstien with the front OME between the two KJs so Wifey could try them out. Sure, could have just swapped vehicles for a week, but the rash of cat converter thefts in Omaha means mine stays in Bellevue.

What’s the verdict? OME or Bilstein?

Honestly I haven’t driven the bistro s enough yet. The OME makes it feel top heavy on turns..a little wobble. As Tom pointed out to me a while back, gotta get some miles on them first. Wifey has other plans I guess. Happy wife happy life and all that.

I'm always looking as well , have a whole garage and basement full of just KJ parts
I looked up the reviews as well and well good luck on it, like I said if it only lasts a year you got your moneys worth
I saw that Autozone sells this brand , maybe the reason I have never heard of them
Any parts for sale ? lol

Weather gonna be a balmy 50-60F today and today only. Going to go look for stuff to drive over...then I realized I now have a jack problem.
That is, I better get something that goes a little taller than my current collection before I go out looking for trouble. My largest floor sack reaches max height and the tires are still on the ground. Cheater blocks and big jack stands are OK in the driveway, but I keep telling myself "Remember stupid, you have to be able to drive it home." ROFL

Darn thing should last at least 20 years or more
Thankfully I keep them stocked at work

10 year old tires ?
Wow I would of removed them years ago , how many miles
Seen what old tires do after 5-7 years with **** outs, sidewall cracking etc never would run them that long
Of course most of mine are plum wore out in 2 years or less due to having a gas bu tt as my step father would of said LOL

Took Dr. Fish from work to the “secret” fish and aquarium store. Bought a 55 gallon long, a cabinet stand, etc etc…for the Labs.
Owner is helping us load it into Bert and comments “Wow, a Jeep out fitted to actually do Jeep stuff.”
Dr. Fish tells him, “yeah, we use it for field sampling too.”

Kinda made my day.

you wanna really bl.ow wind up his skirt, show him pictures of mine with the plow on it, and towing the car trailer. :D
It is kind of funny really. There are a ton of lifted vehicles here. One can't spit in the parking lot and not hit one. Truth is there is no real off roading in Nebraska, this is a mudding state. And these folks love their mud. In Omaha alone there is three separate mudding clubs. Even then, as I suspect is true most places, outfitting a 4x4 is most often done for looks rather than functionality. The Jeep club here specializes in doing parades...
