If it is a lucky rabbit's foot you might look into getting a refund. :D
If it is anything like one I got with a used car I took in on trade then R U N !!!
In 1987 I took a 1978 Olds 98 2 door in on trade on a pickup, guy left a rabbits foot on the key ring
100 mile drive home, 1/2 way back deer hit me in the side
2 days later lady ran stop sign and totaled it

Replaced the ignition actuator part again.... wish someone made one that was steel and not low end aluminum like the Mopar junk sold at the dealer.
The Dorman Actuator is usually recommended here and other KJ sites.

I personally have not had a problem with this part on my 2002 Export CRD!

I have no idea who "Dorman" is but if I ever need a new Actuator Pin Assembly I will definitely Google them!

I know that years ago the Dealers did not carry this part...had to buy the whole Steering Column at some ridiculous price...glad you were at least able to buy one from the Dealer!;)

You need the right rabbit's foot for "good luck". Lefties are bad luck. Of course it's all bad luck if you're the rabbit.

Took advantage of the lousy weather and time off to teach Wifey how and when to use 4wd.

Nothing like an icy high school parking lot to learnin’

She done all right but was a bit confused by traction control and such.

Made sure my recovery gear is ready just in case…:p

Happy New Year!

Replaced the top bulb sockets on the rear view lights. 2 $10 dollar dorman parts worth not waiting for the socket to need to be messed with again to get the connections going. I like not giving the popo reasons to pull me over.

We had fun driving both Libertys around in the snow and ice today. Had Wifey follow me in hers to the “skill drive” street so she could practice some more. It’s a “hidden” street in a neighborhood near the river. It snakes and switchbacks up and down the bluff. She did extremely well in the ice and through the tricky turns.
Then she went and earned her mall rated badge at the super Target.
