My '04's covers are definitely some sort of black metal. What do the plastic ones look like? Guess I've never looked under the hood of an 05.

Yup, mine are also. Changed out the gaskets about a year ago.. Solid... err nice thin metal...

No, No. My engine is running great. It's just the way John's sig is/was written I wasn't sure if he was selling just the 3.7 or the entire KJ.
