Hello. I am going to purchase MOAB 16x8 wheels(http://www.quadratec.com/products/92615_210X_PG.htm) and would like to get upgraded tires. I was looking at the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac in a 245/75R/16

Does anyone have experience with these tires? I want aggressive but not so much that they roar on roads.
I am lifting my 2002 KJ by 3.5" soon.
Could i run a 255/75/16? or should i stick with 245. I am not going to re-gear right not to a 4.10 therefore am not going with a 265..
Any feedback or suggestion would be appreciated

Yes stick with 245-75-16s you're going to lose power and mileage even with them but not so much as larger.
I'd also go for a set of real Moabs than the cheaper knockoffs. Those are cast wheels, not forged like real Moabs are

to add to this, i would skip the moabs (the reccomended rim width for the 245/75/16 duratracs is 7", so go with the tried and true 16x7" with 4" of back spacing. i have a set of pro-comp 98 series (same as a soft 8) in that size and back space with 245/75/16 discoverer at3's. they have been great for around 40,000 miles IIRC. but i have finally decided to regear.

Times two, I get tired of saying 7 inch work better so have given up :icon_lol:

i wish that someone made an alloy 16x7...basically the level 8 trackers minus 1" of width would be ideal. or some titanium 16x7 beadlocks (go big or go home right?)

Sorry for asking as I should know this but does the regear apply the same to manual transmission?
