parts 750 range
labor depends on what they charge in your area
Some places know how to install a lift on a KJ others don't and charge by the hour and who knows
May check with others who live nearby to see what they have done

I had the Skyjacker lift kit and it lasted less than 2 years. It was always sqeaky and noisy. I would never recomend this lift kit. I just put the OME heavy suspension on my Lib. What a big difference.

So subtracting the ~$800 for the lift parts that leaves $1600 for the wheels and tires.

What the €£~*% are you getting...? :freak3:

Tommud "If going OME there are some additions to add to get extra height if you are planning on running 32s
First go with the 927/948 combo of springs, get JBA UCAs ( will help greatly with alignment issues) add a 1/4 inch top plate from JBA, 3/8 inch clevis all on the front, then rear add two extra upper isolators
teraflax front bumpstops in front , not sure what year you have but if 05 and later , you'll need a brake line extension for the rear
this will give you about 3.25-3.50 inches of lift after it settles in
You have it made since you can go with 4.10s or even 4.56s since you're only 2 wheel drive"
I looked up and added all of these parts up and it my wheels and tires together are only $880 the rest are all the parts above

The 927/948 combo with springs and shocks are $756 and the UCA is like $345 and all the little parts added to it comes up to about $2,400
Do you guys recommend a less expensive way?

OK, so the springs, shocks and UCA's total $1101. The top plates are like $25, the rear iso's about $25, the 3/8" clevis lift is either free or $4 if you buy conduit nuts. So now we're at $1160-ish.

That still leaves $1300 for wheels and tires - unless you're also going to regear which will add about $600-$800 to the $1160 which now totals $2000 on the outside leaving you $400 for wheels and tires.

Is this new math...? :freak3:

Got it!

With regearing it's easy to see how you got to $2400 - what got us all going was your statement that the lift and tires totaled $2400 alone. But add in UCA's and 4.10's and - yessir - you're at $2400.

Dang - wish I would have been able to do all that at one time...But 2 kids in college, a mortgage, $4/gallon gas forces me to space things out a bit, ya know? :party52:

Post pics as you get this project underway!
