Greetings!

KJ RIP! Saga continues.....

New to daughter 2019 Cherokee Limited. She's in Co Springs are and seems insistent on having M/Snow tires on the thing..... Not gonna win this argument, so second best....get proper answers on what she wants!

First.... if this is NOT the correct forum for KL's please advise. Thank-you!

Vehicle came to use with P225-60 R18's on it. Nice GY Assurance tires! (LOVE them on my Other Brand pickup! 85K miles! No longer made in my size :(((( )

Sales dude told her that she needs P275-60 R18's. I did the math (tire calc!) and it comes out to be a horrible recommendation in my brain. over an inch diameter increase, also not to mention a 2" width increase. A 5mph negative to the speedo, and to the engine rpms at speed....and up hills etc.

I'm thinking that if a 275 is even available, that a 50 or 55 series would be in order just for diameter purposes no to mention more narrow 245 maybe 255 on a 7" wheel. No idea what the extra width will do for fenderwell clearance on full compression and rebounds, and lock to lock steering....

She's looking at some standard off road-ish tires BFG K02 or K03.

ANY ONE BEEN DOWN THIS ROAD BEFORE THAT CAN ANSWER??? THANKS!!! Steve
