Hey folks,
I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with installing car security systems and remote starters. I'm looking at buying one (the Audiovox Informer http://www.cardomain.com/item/AVXAPS996A), but it says that professional installation is recommended. We all know that professional installation is usually quite expensive, plus the markup at retail stores, so if it's possible I'd like to do it myself. I wasn't sure if anyone was familiar with the install process, because I'm not really familiar with any of it...so any help is greatly appreciated! I'd like to be informed on the process before making a purchasing decision.
