good combo, does not right harsh
we've done over 20 here with that combination and everyone loves the ride afterwards

That's exactly what I'm running - with the 1/4" top plate, clevis lift and extra rear isolators.

Great ride - firm yes. Harsh - no. And I tow a small bass boat regularly and it barely pushes the rear down at all (about a 2800lb boat/trailer combo.)

Seems someone did the medium duty springs and thought it was too mushy. If you go through the "lift" threads, say in 2008-2009 maybe earlier I think you can find it. Just about every combo is in there.

Would that set up not yield a softer ride with the same amount of lift?
Nope , well softer yes but not same lift.
926s are 15.43 inches tall, 927s are 15.51
not much but with that amount and the softer ratings you wouldn't get as much lift out of them
ALSO, the 948 rear springs are what they consider medium duty, going to the lighter weight ones would be same a stock
and riden is right, someone tried them and shortly there after removed them and switched them out

(welcome)

For what you're willing to spend you'd be miles ahead by simplifying your life and ordering JBA's Adjust-A-Struts and their 4" rear springs with Bilstein rear shocks. Assorted bumpstops for the front and rear, the "Y" link extension and the the brake line extensions and you're ready to rumble with a GREAT lift. I wouldn't bother with shaved CV's - you won't take the stock CV's over the edge with a 4" lift.

Do it this way and you'll have money left over to regear to 4.10's for the bigger tires you no doubt have your eye on - or will soon!

Rethink your plan and let us know what you end up doing. :party52:

Short answer NO it would not work at all
Using junk parts like the RRO spacer then the RK clevis both being below par parts.
NEXT even if you did use the above you'd end up with 7.5 - 8 inches of lift since we all know that the Ironman like OME are advertised at 1.5 inches but give more in the 2.25-2.50 at least.
The CVs would be unable to turn even with cutting them
The rear well same as the front would just be a pile of parts
Others have tried, done it to prove a point to some of us who tried to say it wouldn't work. Guess what they tried, they failed and ended up with a broken KJ
Like Bob mentioned for what you have figured in above , you could get a well engineered kit from JBA. Its proven, rides good etc

Oh the rear shocks would be about 4 inches too short as well
