Trying to finish up the rear brakes on the KJ and I can't get the caliper pistons to compress enough. I haven't opened any of the bleeders or master cylinder. It compresses a bit but not enough. Is it a screw piston where it screws in? Or do I need to open something up?

Thanks

This is the same vehicle that has tiny brake shoes for park brake? If so, piston should push straight in. What are you using to compress it?

If it's not so far out as to be cocked sideways then you either have a sticking piston, or restrictive flex hose.
