Hi everyone - a bit of a lame question, but I'm heading overseas with my 05 Liberty for a few years - mountains, a lot of unpaved main roads, snow in the winter, general fun - but also hot summers and highway driving when its nice. I'm required to put snow tires on from Nov-March. Thoughts on just buying four extra rims to make the seasonal swap out faster/easier (not sure what types of shops I'll have out there)? Any concerns with doing that - or is that just a waste / extra weight?

Thanks

Why not just buy tires that are snowflaked to begin with and run them the whole time ?
One set does it all
Duratracs for instance have the snowflake designation and lots run them year round
