Hello all,

I currently own two 2003 Jetta TDI 5 speed wagons, so I am not new to diesel.

I also own a 2002 Grand Cherokee with 229,000 miles, so I am not new to Jeeps.

I am going to look at a 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD with 73,000 miles. It appears to be in really nice shape. It does have a glow plug code. I have done some reading on the ceramic vs. metal glow plugs; it looks like I will need to replace with the 7V steel plugs.

I also plan on replacing the timing belt and water pump soon after purchase, if I decide to buy it.

Is there anything else regarding this model that I should focus on?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nothing against this site BUT over on LOSTJEEPs they have a bunch of owners who have done everything there is to the CRDs, may try there as well
