MBRP muffler

I know there are a lot of these posts. I'm new here and just installed an MBRP cat-back exhaust on my 2006 liberty. It's a little louder than I was hoping for. I was wondering if there's anyone who has had the MBRP but switched to a muffler that's a little quiter? What did you go with?

I didn't have the MBRP but I have a Flowmaster Super 44 and love it
It has plenty of rumble and it's loud when I rev the engine but the drone isn't too bad at all, especially with music on
It was also very easy to install
I wouldn't want anything else to be honest, it's a slightly more tame sound compared to having no muffler but still sounds great for being a v6

BUT, if you don't like loud then you definitely wouldn't like the 44
If I was in your situation I'd get either the Super 40 or maybe even the 50 series
Great price for either one and they'll give you a nice sound without being overly loud when you don't want it to be

If you think the MBRP is too loud then you defiantly don't want anything like the Flowmaster
The Magnaflows may even be a bit too much for you . But they aren't bad at all way better than some of the others out there
and thats coming from someone who ran a Flowcraster for over 50,000 miles and have ran others on XJs/ YJs etc

You could try welding it instead of clamping it. Might quiet it down a bit.

I'll give that a try. Perhaps a turn down tip might help redirect it some too. It's not so much that the noise bothers me, but I work at certain places where there is zero tolerance for it.
