I tow my '06 KJ behind my RV, so it has a Blueox tow bar base plate on it. Would the Matrix mount with the base plate, or could the tow bar be attached to the Matrix ?

The Matrix Brush guard mounts the same place as the tow plate does I would say.
Depends on how the mounting plate is on it . Do you have any pictures of it?
If so post those up, I can post some of the Matrix mounts to compare if both could be used or not

Here are some pictures of the mounting plates for the Matrix
trying to see if there was a way to mount both, but looks like a welder may come in handy there

From looking at the tow bar mounts I don't think it would take much at all to combine the two really, couple of modifications would do it
