How do I know what size front driveshaft to buy, how's it measured? '02 auto part time 4wd

Why do you need a new one? ( first question)
Then I assume 3.7 motor but what transfer case?
I guess Selectrac ?? correct?

It would be command track wouldn't it? It is part time, has 2hi, 4hi, n, 4lo with shift on the fly. It is the 3.7 motor. I'm putting a new rear cv joint on mine but a friend has a shaft from one of his libbys he said I could have for a spare. It has new cv's on it. He's out of town so I don't want to go get it if it won't fit. I think you measure weld to weld right?
